Senior Wellness will Rock in the Central Valley with “Agile Aging” Director, Valerie Garrett, at Healings in Motion’s Stroke Prevention Program

Healings in Motion is presenting “Agile Aging – Senior Wellness” with Valerie Garrett at their monthly lunch and learn program on Wednesday, July 27th from 12:00 pm-2:00 pm at the Worknet Building, located at 56 S. Lincoln Street, Stockton, CA 95203. Dress comfortably and gear up to have fun, learn and participate as these simple but effective movements are demonstrated.

Agile Aging’s slow, subtle movements embrace a mind-body approach, accompanied by music and movement games that can be done seated or standing. Love yourself with graceful dancing to increase your confidence and reduce aches and pains. Learn from geriatric body movement expert, Valerie Garrett.

A healthy and delicious meal will be provided. Enjoy this event with friends or come alone and make friends at this social enhancing program designed to support senior wellness.

About Guest Speaker, Valerie Garrett: Valerie is a certified practitioner of Spatial Dynamics®. Her company, Agile Aging™ is an associate member of the International Somatic Movement Education and Therapy Association (ISMETA). It is based in San Francisco, CA. Valerie’s approaches to agile movements support graceful aging. Valerie teaches Agile Aging nationally.
