Healings in Motion Announces Keynote Speaker, Dr. Gary Small, Memory Expert, for the 5th Annual “Caring for the Caregiver” Symposium in Stockton, CA, November 10, 2012

Healings in Motion is proud to present Dr. Gary W. Small, M.D. as the keynote speaker at the 5th Annual “Caring for the Caregiver” Symposium.    Dr. Small is recognized nationally as the expert on memory and aging. He has been featured on shows including The Dr. Oz Show, The Today Show. Dr. Small directs UCLA’s Longevity Center and the Geriatric Psychiatry Division at the Semel Institute for Neuroscience & Human Behavior at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA.

Dr. Gary Small is the author of six books, including the bestseller, “Memory Bible”. His recently co-authored “The Alzheimer’s Prevention Program”.

“Healings in Motion continues to bring the experts to the Central Valley and we are excited to have Dr. Small as our keynote speaker this year”, says Mary Nicholson, the non-profit agency’s founder.

We are also pleased to collaborate with Mimosa Spa and Salon, located in Manteca, CA, to bring the pleasure of massage and relaxing therapies for the Caregivers”.

Healings in Motion is seeking other partners to collaborate with to make this event the best it can be. We know how valuable Caregivers are to every community and they deserve a special day to share our deepest appreciation for the selfless role they play. Caregivers are the backbone to healthcare.

We are now developing the breakout sessions and reaching out to businesses, services and other non-profits that may enhance the day’s event.
